(Cap Junky x Sour Diesel) x (Durban Thai x Jack Herer

The female was Cap Diesel #4 pictured

The pollen came from a clone only cut of Durban Thai x Jack Herer. Rick at Grimm brothers bred it and gifted me the cut. I love the plant, short stature, big buds and incredible smell/flavor. Here is a picture of the DTJH plant in flower.

I like the DTJH because it has a lot of the traits the short phenotype of SSH has. It grows the same, smells similar, and the high is better. If you like a head in the clouds type sativa highs. This hybrid should be perfect.

Are you going to run a couple? Real curious how this one turns out. I left the naming part for after I see what they hybrid did. If you find a keeper, name it what you want. Maybe the terpene profile will help.

Its on its way to me from a recent order. I will start a grow diary for it when I run it. Yes, terps could be a good naming choice.

I really liked both parents. DTJH has more of a classic sativa high. Pollenated with the Headband high from the Cap Diesel. Which ever way the offspring go, I hope the highs will follow.

I love Alani Island. Real happy to know that cut is still alive. It has been confirmed that Staten Island Chem is the mother of Alani island. I also need to look through the Alani Island S-1 seeds. There is going to be a SIC leaning female in there somewhere.

That Durban Jack had flavor for days. It smells just like Jack Herer or Super Silver Haze. Cap Diesel had a sour smell. It didn't have as good of flavor as it did the high. They say the pollen donor transfers smell/flavor among other things. What ever happens flavor wise, the high should be spot on.
