Not sure if you know DrtyHands or not. He sent me info on a new growing technic that he read about. It said that plants flowered with 13/11 flower time through flower produced more. When I saw you mention it, I thought you were going to try it. If you know Drty ask him for the info. I am going to try it in one of my small tents. I have yet to get a chance yet.

Don't know him, nor about the effect on production as this is my first time trying it. I'd need side-by-side comparison to make any real scientific conclusion. If these girls look like they're finishing in good time, I may let them run 13 hours to the end.

Mathematically makes sense if the plant takes it well.

I do lower to 10/14 for Haze and also did and do veg sometimes under GLR (which is also just 13hrs of light a day in total) which both works just fine.
There is much to explore with different light hours.

I was wanting to try gaslamp routine out also to save power and especially to overcome thermal issues in my 3rd floor veg room.

As for the 14, 13, 12 hour routine... I'm growing outdoor this year for the first time & they've been amazing here in VA. I had a hunch they may do better indoors with something of a ramp from veg schedule to flower, instead of the quick flip from 18 hours down to 12. So far it's going really well, and has it allowed some of my smaller ones that didn't veg as long and slower veg, to take their time and flip with a bit more stretch.
 
The new light systems out there let you control everything. When I was down at Grimm Brothers grow. Rick showed me the system someone gave him to test. You can control everything about the light. You can pretty much create any regions light schedule.

I would get it but this old mind would have hell figuring out. I don't think they will do tutorials for outlaw grows 🤣

Man you would be suprised what people will do for money...after all its just a lighting solution. Not like they tell you anything confidential.
