I see, never considered letting the tails get that long before transplanting. I will give it a try for sure.I have had similar problems with my own and other people seeds. I started letting them open fully in the paper towel or close to it. I won't plant a seed anymore unless it has at least a half inch long tail. Then you can plant the seed with it only the root buried and the seed or leaves on top of the soil. Since I have went to longer tails, I have yet to have a seed quit me after planting.
How are you looking? I never had problems with beans popping. The plants themselves actually have great structure as I remember.
I typically wait until at least day 3 as well or I just plant directly into the coco. It kinda depends how lazy I’m being.i leave the beans in the towel for 3 days minimum, any longer is definitely not on purpose, however sometimes I wait longer than day 3 because of not seeing what I need to see to merit being planted. Once you plant solo cup them, this mitigates any overwatering you may induce in a bigger pot. Keep em there til they outgrow the cup, then transplant. This is the method I’ve used with success. Hope it helps in the future.
No judgement homie. Just extending an olive branch, per say. Keep up the good work.I typically wait until at least day 3 as well or I just plant directly into the coco. It kinda depends how lazy I’m being.
Not a huge fan of using the plugs for starting seeds, I’ve had a lot more success going directly into the solo cups as well.
It kinda sucks is this the lounges intro to my grow journals. I promise I know what I’m doing to a certain extent
