I am curious the answers you get. I ran 8 to 10 mothers for a couple of years. I just cloned them when ever they got to big. Normally I would cut them back a couple of times before cloning again. I only run 2 gallon pots so the mothers can't stay in them too long without troubles.
I didn't manage my mothers well. I let HLV into the grow and it infected everything before I knew it was there. You really need to be careful when cutting back, cloning, or any time you work with multiple plants.
