Hello everyone, I'm Sam, this is my first post here ! In picture is "Octang" that i recieved in a giveaway on Katsu's discord channel,seeds are femenized and made by Jackalope using Katsu's Alani island and crossed it to Capjunky...plant is resilient monster, smells of citrusy oranges,full of dense buds and resinous...this pic is taken on day 42...will update as she comes to finish !

haha if i wasn't running so many projects....miss "MEGA" plants lol - they are just fun to run lol, and 42 day flower (if you loook at my WTF og is this thread) - had VERY VERY similar buds and like the same purply yellow amber leafs - i never had that kind of purple hue and it was FUCKING GAAAASSSS, so i look for that now haha idk if there is something too it but ik the last time i saw leaves like that i got some one hitter flame that impressed,
im also very partial to citrus and diesal and skunk and kush really - so righttt on
BAANG ON THAT OCTANG its impressin me haha- right on!

73 days was the sweet spot for Alani Island. I take Cap Junky between 63 and 70 most of the time. I like the 70 day stuff the most. Take her to 70 days or so if you can.

- she started getting that partial purple hue - and some turned full others stayed partial
haha just really never seen that before and it was the best pheno by FAR. so like yeah idk if see those leaves with new ladies - i am looking to see if it was just a coincidence or its a "Gas indicator" of some sort!
 
Thank you everyone,i am excited to get her to finish...i can tell that octang is really sturdy and hungry plant,she loves to eat even in veg,and i fed her well during flowering...i am using soil amended wit bat guano and worm castings,and wollastonite for calcium and silica...i am using B.A.C. organic line fertilizers,feeding every time i water,but in low levels....so i never over fertilize ...this plant is 8 months old ,first time flowering,and its 4th gen of clones from the original seed mother... That's it for now ,and thank you everyone for warm welcome

No man ,i haven't, had to take grow down two times,and backup all plants,then restart...so this will be first time i got her to finish line...
 
That is going to be some well earned smoke by the time you get to it. Good things happen when you do things right. It is always nice to have back up clones.

If you find a good one. Back it up again and send clones to a friend or 2. I recently had to search out new mothers for my veg tent. I lost everything to HLV. I had all my clone only strains backed up at more than one place to be sure. All the plants I lost were only a call and a road trip away
 
Cool, I don't think I have seen the Octang 2.0 grown out yet. I can't wait to see how it does. I don't know if there will be as much orange with Cap Junky as the pollen donor. I do expect lots of frosty pheno's
