The thing I learnt from DJ was if you growing a hybrid plant to bring out more sativa expressions is to change the duration of light these days I run most my sativas 16.5 or 17 hours lights on and I get better results cause it makes alot of sense if you look at it sativas are long flowering indicas are shorter flower require extra light 18/6 is good for indica but 16.5 to 17 makes indica hybrids express more sativa qualities Im a true witness to the magic it works especially with DJs blueberry change the light period to 17 see what happens.

I cant comment on that but im beginning to think the plants adapt and react to their environments quicker than we give them credit for.

listen to him (DJ) on a podcast and he mentioned when growing his " Blueberry" he recommended using low/no nutrient for his blueberry ( organic) Don't know but he is the man - to me the breeders word is good as gold !!!!!!!!!!! Peace to D.J. I did get a few pack of his genetics and also a few blue Star company genetics (relation of and works with DJ's genetics) FYI
