Triangle Kush x Hotcakes.
Seeds soaked overnight in a weak Hydrogen Peroxide mix, and straight to soil in peat pots today.
My last Hotcakes cross only gave me 1 female, so Im hoping this grow will show me a bit more of of Hotcakes offering!

Good luck with females, I have had Hotcake hybrids go both ways. I got a lot of females from the SFV Sunset and only 1 out of 5 female from the Raindance.

I popped 5 Dracar Noir, and got 1 female, so Im due a bit of luck and a better ratio!

this is ALL good to know - this is going to be one of my next runs for sure, i have heard hotcakes doesn't express like normal GSC - and it is mostly triangle, paris, face off, and katsu bubba anyway - sounds like a BANGER, is there anything particular about this girl should worry about ie high low temps/rh, light hungry, nute hungry/sensitive- og tends to like a higher RH even in flower above 50 wonder about this one (trying some diff katsu gear rn this and AK to start at least damn my budget lol i want more packs haha

also i got these mainly FOR good males ironically - fucking SICK of never having fathers or able to bx WITHOUT fem pollen- really want to make some good hybrids with this one especially, i mean all the cuts in pythag are just straight fire.

-as far as the 50/50 of the 50/50 jack haha can't have been more right on paper 4 plants - 2 male 2 female. have 3 if not 4 out of 4 ladies rn on ak lol , learning reg seed you wanna run a lot to get the desired gender like even with 4 can all be the same that is WILD, like can bascially get "fem" seed 10 females or 10 males in some cases , all the more reason to keep getting a lot of gear!

EDIT THEY WERE DUDEEEEEES - ftr lol, but the biggest was fem second biggest stud still a win imo

Over my time growing, Ive been pretty lucky really. Often from a start of 10, I would get 5-7f/5-3m. Sometimes better/worse. The Dracar Noir surprised me with just the 1f. I dont have the room right now to be able to run and hunt a great Dad, but one day I will for sure.

The PS roots are starting to show through the peat pots, so I will be potting up next weekend.

Went away for the Holiday break, waaay overwatered these, and they are still showing me the effects. Going to veg these a bit longer, even though the nodes are starting to stagger. Only one, yes ONE is def showing as a lady, which concerns me slightly. Hey ho, it is what it is.

I have found some great plants when I only got one female from a pack of seeds. Some of my favorite plants from seed were single females out of a whole pack of seeds.

Flipped to flower yesterday, after a long 10 week veg. Just waiting for the final IDs, but looks like total 4 ladies, 6 blokes. Took a lot off the bottoms, and as you can see, they were screaming at me what sex they are!

Final count was indeed 4F, they did stretch a lot in the the first 2 weeks. They were already getting close to the lights, so each one got a major bend!

Had a power cut last night. Took the chance to get some pictures in natural light. These are still stacking hard, they are going to be really good sized tops. Ive got purple and fading hard phenos. Sniff is still fruity, very sweet and also pepper. Looking at trichs, still lots of clear so we'll keep going for a bit. This is Day 47.
