Root beer rock candy bx1 (alien)

It sounds like something you would like if you are a root beer fan.

I am not sure if they are available anymore. A have a few I am saving, just so I can keep a Root Beer phenotype.

Love the time of grow when things start to set! Trying a bunch of new stuff thia round but these have been showing little sign of displeasure at my torture methods!

I will say that flushing this way sucks, i have to take every plant, put it on top of a 1 gallon bucket turned upside down in a five gallon bucket like a stool and water until runoff requirement is met...i gotta find trays that will fit in here so I can reautomate and pump to waste the runoff

I have old milk crate looking box that fits right over a 5 gallon bucket. It is the best thing I have found to use so far. It isn't very good. I can only do 1 plant at a time.

Someone could make a bunch of money if they could figure a cheap easy to use plant flusher.

Patents can be pricey, lots of foot work goes into getting them. Tons of research on other products and shit. Not sure really, I am a idea man. I leave it to others to perfect these great ideas I have LMAO.

The garden is setting now. Day 17. Waiting on some males to show in veg tent so I can relocate a couple drifters!
Have slowly been working the led fixture to 100% and I think i should have it by weeks end. I was super pissed at the light for a while but then i decided that I am going to learn how to use it. I think now that i am using led in veg as well I will see better results.
At a grand a fixture i cant have this sitting on a shelf.
I swap the plants weekly from the hps to led side. To me the led side grows everything with a sweet smell. Could just be genetics as every strain is related and inbred anymore it seems.

Looks like my tents. Packed full LOL.

I use both LED and HPS. Not together though. I have to agree that learning the new LED lights isn't as easy as it sounds. Plants require so much more of everything with the LED. I never run my LED on full power. Mostly I run it 2 clicks back. I have had a couple plants show too many amber trichomes because of the power.

You see when you have too much light in veg easier. They get droopy by then end of the day. I had a bunch of droopy plants and heard about light intensity causing problems. I turned my light down and everything was doing great within days.

Yeah man, i asked on discord about what was wrong and thats what you guys diagnosed...in all my years of growing hps/mh i never had "too much light" be an issue. Lol. But since they are growing accustomed to 75% and i am watering twice a day in 2 gallon bags...i think i will automate watering next winter when I can grow indoors again...pretty much 7 mos. A year to grow indoors with humidity and high temps...i like my summers off though!

I have always wanted a good drip system. I just can't figure out how to do it with the way I grow. I have to move plants to water right now. I will be turning 62 in a couple days. My old back needs a new system

I still have the male which I believe is the key ingredient, he is a frosty bastard and i would describe him as the perfect looker for my type of growing....one nice cola and six branches with minimal nodes but fat, tight compact clusters at the tops...indica dominant for sure. As for seeds, i have so many from this run plus a male I am eyeing up from the jar jar stinks line that i guess anything could happen. My goal is to find 5 to 10 males of all different lineages, do a big open pollination so i dont know whats what and then start a line from there...the problem is everything is so inbred with chem lines its almost hard to get away from it. I hate to say it but I am thinking of looking at some of the dutch lines to bring back a little vigor to it all.
Pictured is my #2 pheno root beer rock candy bx1. She needed another 7 days easy when i picked last time. She will get it this time, i think she is gonna be a winner

The three phenos.
1 is showing some signs of overfeeding now so a good flush amd lower ec to 2.4 should get them back on track.
2 is overall happy...all of them are a touch upset about the pot size but I cant change that now..i grew them.from seed larger than these though. At 2.8 ec she is still hungry! damn you LED lighting!!!! Jk
3 is chugging along nicely, theres tons of larf on them and i am just sick of pruning at this point so it should make some good bubble...all at day 26
Bottom photo is pheno 2
Second from bottom is pheno 3
Third from bottom is pheno 1

Pheno 2 is definetly og kush leaning in structure to my eye. And smells like bubble gum. A smell I had not encountered on the from seed run but am thrilled at it this time. I am onna have to keep two out of three here i think. #3 pheno has numbered days so far, 1 and 2 look like they will get another run at some point

Very nice. I have always had trouble choosing keeper plants. I have to smoke them to tell for sure. Lots of times it isn't the prettiest or the biggest plant that has the best high!

You're correct. This is round two with them and since the whole tent is nothing but these three phenos (excwpt the two finishing moves) i can better dial them in this is my first time ever not doing a cluster of different seeds from different breeders and the maintenance on the plants are soooo much easier...i will not like less variety but the veg tent has that so i will make it through, i suppose.
The 2 pheno is doing better than the seed run but i need to figure out where to prune her for performance...thinking no cola.
The 3 pheno is consistent in looks smallish plants with bushy undersides and a smallish cola
Pheno 1 is no cola all bush but looks like 5 to 8 colas a plant. I may have to run them all again.....
