Shashaman - this is an Ethiopian Sativa landrace I got from a dude in Kenya that sells African genetics. I should have 10 or so when they all pop - looking forward to seeing what these bring to the table. There were rumblings that these genetics might be the same or similar to the "Jamaican Lambsbread" you used to get out of Jamaica.

Awesome.
So when you get something like this, that i would presume being a landrace would take forever to flower and would be understandably airy, do you cross it with something to improve vigor and reduce flowering times? Or do you just inbreed those with the best traits until you get something consistent?

I look for flowering time and terps as well as how vigorious he is and tricomes, in most cases you have to grow out the seeds he produce and select one that meets your standards but If the male is a Inline breed heavily or come from a line that been back crossed a couple of times to lock down on specific genes that male could dominate the female but changing the terps and expressions of the offsprings or if hes a indica dominate make the seeds less sativa but it all about making the cross and search for what you want.

One little trick I do is only pollenate one bud when Im making seeds for myself to me the less seeds the plant has to make the better chances for you to find that keeper this just what I do personally cause if you look at it majority of these so called bag seed elites they came from plants that didn't produce a buttload of seeds only a couple.
