Here are my 3 phenos of the Sour OGMango. They are currently on day 60 and I plan on taking at least another 10 days. One is got a good fade on it. Foxtailing on me a bit, but she stretched a lot more than I thought she would and is kinda close to my light.
All 3 have fat dense golf balls on them. Great spacing between nodes.
Faded one has a rotten mango forward nose light gas on the back end.
Thicker fat green one is much more gas forward. Curls the nose hairs with a real nice sweetness following the funk.
Smallest one has a bit of both but more on the rotten fruit that you feel in the back of the nose/throat.

Gorgeous plants, great work man! That short one is interesting considering the heritage

Living soil is still a mystery for me. Something I may want to try someday. As of now, I am using all my old soil for projects at a friends house. Some will be tilled in to build up the soil for grass. Other stuff fills holes. Lots better than stashing it out on the prairie somewhere 😁

I can certainly understand the mystery. It was for me before I went down the rabbit hole, and was still 1 or 2 runs in. But just like every other style out there, once you figure it out a little its that much more exciting when you crush it. I advise everyone to try it out, but understand that it isn't feasible for everyone. Nice thing about it is you don't have to keep buying new soil. But to each their own I always say. As long as you are growing your own and not going to the dispos, thats a win in my book. And when you can get a hold of great genetics like Katus's work, you are ahead of everyone in the neighborhood. ;)

They look great. I might try this one next run

Pretty sure I have a grow book on it. I need to check on that. Where did you learn your info to start with?

Mainly just YouTube and podcasts. There are a lot of great resources out there. One community I’m a part of is Growcast. They have a podcast weekly and discord server with a wealth of knowledge and very accommodating members. Their motto is there is no wrong way to grow. All styles are welcome and the only thing not welcome is hate. Also Queen of the Sun Grown has a podcast and discord too. She is a great wealth of knowledge as well.
For YouTube, I don’t have one specific channel. But if you just look up Living Soil beds or containers, you will find many rabbit holes to go down.

Here is my smoke report for the 3 phenos I ran of the Sour OG Mango
The first pic is of the smaller plant in a 5 gal pot
Second pic with 2 buds is of #3
Third is of the #4 pheno
They all produced very well for me. Got several ounces of thick dense buds. the #4 pheno fox tailed on me a bit, but i believe that may be due to me not anticipating how much she stretched. Was damn near touching my lights. So be prepared for at least a 2x-3x stretch period. These ladies are beefy and put out a bunch of great buds with really even internodal spacing. If you stay on top of the defoliation, these ladies are easy to trim. I defol at 20/40/60 days. I ended up taking them to 69 days.
They all have a great gassy smell to them. then in the back have a hint of sweet mango that seems to be rotting a little bit. its a smell that at first has a little bit of an "ew thats gross, i need to smell that again" and it keeps taking you back for more.
They have a great flavor that lingers on the tongue after you smoke and is a little lip smacking. Great gas with a sweet undertone. the tongue is very similar to the nose on these.
So far they have all been uplifting and a great daytime smoke. Amazing if you want to focus on a task and get some things done. I love to walk my dog in the afternoon and this is the perfect strain for that. I feel like we are walking for mins but easily an hour passes buy. At first smoke it was a little racy and panic inducing, but on the second smoke (once i knew what i was in for) was a great high. clear headed and great for walking around and solving an issue i had been struggling to get the answer for.
I highly recommend this strain for anyone looking for a good daytime smoke.

Think this is what I'm gonna grow next I was gonna do Skunk first but Sour Mango seems to be calling me lol. I will document my grow havent done that in years gonna buy a new camera just to take pics of my plants dont like taking pic with phone goggle to nosey if you ask me.

I need to bump this strain up on the "too grow" list. I am looking for a great hybrid that produces well. (Blue Dream x Green Crack) x Sour Diesel tops that list for now. I may change that.

Wow, I have to pop some, below is a picture of the OG mango mom. Theres a few out there if you know where to look.
