The '19 (Chemdog (green house) x T.N.R (KC Brainz)

Day 57 flower. Really happy with how its turning out.

currently has a spicy chem with rotting fruit back notes.. smells really good though lol

Interesting cross. I never got around to K.C. Brainz genetics. Looked at them a lot. He would sell out pretty fast in the olden days. I missed the seeds I really wanted on moved on to other breeders

Here is the continuation of this project. I used male KushMints f2 pollen from WSS. The pollen dudded and i ended up with only two seeds from this strain.

(Chemdog x TNR) x KushMints f2 day 19F

Sometimes the failed projects end up the best. One of my favorite clone only sativa is Durban Thai x Jack Herer. Only one seed came from that project and it was amazing. I am getting a couple seeds from my last failed project. Not enough to make it worth while. There is still hope for the few seeds I am getting.

I can wait to see how your 2 seed project comes out.

I may try to make a batch of fem seeds using the only two phenos i have of this strain. Things are really starting to shape up right now.

Both phenos are growing well. #2 has the mothers structure, but almost no nose currently. #1 has an odd structure and reeks of chem mixed with something else.

Im really looking forward to popping my last 3 seeds of the 19xKMf2.

Good guy and solid gear. Wanted to run some KC Brains gear outdoor last year but that failed in the tracks due to an unreliable partner in crime, but the beans popped quick, 100% germination rate. One smaller runt each pack of 7 but the rest took off fast with great stemrubs.
Leda Uno and TNR.
Still got a bunch of his gear with the old package style. You can probably just order directly from the man he takes care of his business.

KC Brains was one of the original breeders that bred mostly for outdoor. That is the second reason I never followed through on any of his gear. He advertised some huge outdoor plants.

KC Brains started out when they only had catalogs for seeds. I wish I had all the catalogs I received through out the years. I would order new catalogs every year or so to see what new strains they made. Most times they only added 1 to 3 strains. That is in a years worth of work, you don't see that nowadays.

Yeah for sure and what breeder nowadays pulls up on you in person to drop off his gear...he did. Met him on a trip to Holland. After finding out about his oldskool dom menu and killer pricing i called and ordered 20 packs - he told me where to meet up and came in person.

That same thing happened a few years back when Grimm started selling seeds again. I order a bunch of seeds and went to Colorado to pick them up. That is when I met Rick/ MrSoul. We have been friends every since.

I heard the potcast EP with him some time ago. Always good to see people step up with their gear, thats where you know one stands for it.

Rick really likes what he does. One conversation I had with him. He told me about when his first wife talked him into quitting the seed business in the 2000's. He said it was the worst decision he ever made. I have been to the guys house. He did REALLY well while he was away from it. She may not have been wrong 😁 . Now he is on his third wife and is back in the game big time!
